Jonathan George, Jonathan for short, is a winter white dwarf hamster. They require a lot of room.
Some may say that 450 square inches is enough for a winter white dwarf hamster. Those people would be wrong and have definitely gotten some strongly worded messages from global hamster enthusiasts.
Technically, the North American minimum is set at 600 square inches of unbroken floor space. I actually think this is an arbitrary number considering most websites actually recommend a minimum of 700 to 775 square inches of unbroken floor space.
To put into perspective how much space this is, this wallpaper is printed as closely to the “actual” size minimum at 702 square inches, or 18x39in (46x99cm).
Although this project does involve some hamster politics, I digress. This project is about my love for Jonathan. And, also, my love for pixel art.
